My name is Emily Stimes and I am an esthetician at Create Beauty Studio. I specialize in eyelash extensions and Bridal Makeup. I also perform body waxing, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, and eyebrow and eyelash lifting! I am certified in microblading as I am so excited to finally have it in my list of services. It gives me so much excitement to add new services because I love to expand my skills and knowledge. My goal in the near future is to add more permanent makeup services! I value creativity and using my artistic abilities to make my clients look and feel beautiful. I have always had an artistic hand, and I love to use it in my career.
All About Me
Growing up, I loved to draw, paint, and do crafts. I then realized I could use people as my canvas! I found a strong love for doing makeup. I would do my friend's makeup for fun and eventually had a couple opportunities to help with makeup for weddings and prom. I knew I wanted to pursue this so I chose an amazing beauty school, Aveda Institute. I went to the Phoenix location and it was the best year of my life. I worked as hard as I could, learned as much information as I could, and am proud to have graduated in the top 3 of my class. Life brought me back to South Dakota where I originally grew up and I love Rapid City! I was born and raised in Sioux Falls but I love this side of the state. I am thankful to be working my dream job and I love all my clients and the amazing relationships I have built.
